DOORealityConfidence Index - DCI

Confidence means freedom from doubt. One number. Every level.

The DCI is a confidence score, 0 to 100, applied to every unit of your business. The whole company, each region, each location, each team, each rep, each canvasser. Its foundation is built from what's verifiable, not what's reported: actual time on the door, quota pace, draw coverage, and how your people show up every day, among other measurements.

Why it matters

For an owner, that ends managing by gut feel. The number tells you how much confidence each part of your business has earned. Confidence here isn't a feeling, it's a measurement. You open one screen and know in seconds what's on track and what needs your attention.

Find any issue before it costs you the month. Without having a meeting. When a score is soft, you follow it down from company to region, region to location, location to team, team to a rep. Now you're having the right conversation with the right person at the right time while the month can still be saved.

The DCI doesn't grade charisma, excuses, or effort claims. It scores what actually happened.

3 answers, in plain English

Every score lands in 1 of 3 bands. The band is what turns a number into a decision.

  • On Track

    The record backs the confidence.

Keep them fed, keep them coached, and use them as the standard everyone else is measured against.

  • Watch

    Something is drifting.

This is the rep a good manager catches in week 5 instead of month 5.

  • At Risk

The record is not supporting the seat.

Have the conversation now, with the record in front of both of you, while there is still time to turn it.

Where the lines fall is tuned from field data. What you do about them is yours.

Confidence is not a feeling. It is a record.

The same score, company down to rep

Start at the company number. A healthy one can still be hiding a team in trouble, and the levels below tell you which. Same metric, same scale, all the way down.

  • Whole company

The number you look at first. One glance says whether this is a good quarter or a story you are telling yourself.

  • Region

Which part of the map is carrying the company, and which part is being carried.

  • Location

The level where a number stops being a trend and starts being somebody's roster.

  • Team

The manager view. The fastest read on whether a manager is developing reps or just holding a seat.

  • Rep

Where it ends. Sales reps and canvassers carry the same score on the same scale.

From the boardroom to the territory, see every number without having to dive through spreadsheets.
